07:00hrs: Depart from your hotel in Arusha City Centre and drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch.

Covering 2,600 km², Tarangire features vast open plains dotted with iconic baobab trees. Located about 120 km south of Arusha, the park is known for its large herds of buffalo and strong lion population. Often considered one of Africa’s hidden gems, it offers a peaceful and remote safari experience ideal for nature lovers.

Wildlife includes zebras, wildebeests, elephants, buffalo, Maasai giraffes, and the rare fringe-eared oryx. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards are frequently seen. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to species like the ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver, and black-collared lovebird.

Late afternoon return to Arusha, arriving at your hotel around 17:00hrs.
