Stone Town is the name that has been given to the historically significant old quarter of Zanzibar City, the capital of Zanzibar, which is found on the island of Unguja. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stone Town offers a number of excursions to illustrate the events which shaped the history of Zanzibar. Zanzibar is also famous for its beautiful beaches, spice tours, and diverse cultures.
