Day 1
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Embark on a scenic morning drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. On arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through this compact yet diverse park, with a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
Covering 325 km², Lake Manyara features Rift Valley lakes, lush woodlands, and dramatic escarpments. It is a paradise for bird enthusiasts, hosting over 380 species, including waterfowl and migratory birds. The forested areas offer excellent chances to spot elusive leopards, while lions are often seen hunting along the lakeshore.
Many visitors combine Lake Manyara with the famous Big Three parks—Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro.

Day 2
Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, collect your picnic lunch and embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting game drive through this world-famous park, known for the Great Migration, where over two million wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes cross the vast savannah. Serengeti is also renowned for its rich wildlife, including the iconic Big Five.
End your day with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at Kon Tiki Central Serengeti Camp.
Day 3
Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After a delicious breakfast, collect your packed lunch and set off for a thrilling morning game drive across the vast, iconic plains of the Serengeti. This is your chance to witness majestic herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roaming freely across the savannah, or perhaps spot a pride of lions resting in the shade.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
End the day with a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay at Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp.
Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire
After breakfast, embark on a morning crater tour with a picnic lunch. Descend 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) into the crater floor—a vast 304-square-kilometer caldera formed millions of years ago after a volcanic eruption once higher than Mount Kilimanjaro. This remarkable ecosystem offers some of Tanzania’s finest game viewing.
Explore diverse habitats, from lush forests home to monkeys and elephants to a serene lake where flamingos gather, and open savannah where lions hunt. With over 25,000 large mammals, the crater provides excellent chances to see the Big Five, along with wildebeest, gazelles, reedbuck, bushbuck, hartebeest, hippos, and more. Bird enthusiasts can also enjoy over 500 species recorded here.
Enjoy your picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your journey. In the afternoon, drive to Tarangire National Park for dinner and an overnight stay at Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.
Day 5
Tarangire National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. Spanning an impressive 2,600 km², Tarangire features vast open plains dotted with iconic baobab trees. Located about 120 km south of Arusha, it is well known for its large lion populations and impressive herds of buffalo. Often regarded as one of Africa’s hidden gems, the park offers a true wilderness experience with a peaceful sense of seclusion.
Wildlife sightings are plentiful, including zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, Maasai giraffes, and fringe-eared oryx roaming the plains. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards add excitement to the experience. Bird enthusiasts can also look forward to rare species such as the endemic ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver, and black-collared lovebird.
After a rewarding morning game drive, enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic site. In the afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving at your hotel around 17:00 hrs.

Tour Plan
After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, have a full-day game drive in the park, lunch at the lodge /campsite.
The park has an endless plain which is a home for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelle, crocodiles, and many more. Also, you will enjoy the variety of birds that decorate the park with different sounds.
Enjoy early breakfast, have morning game drive, then game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation area with game drive en route.
After breakfast, you descend into the crater, enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos.
Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
